Founded by Jessie Fairweather upon her return to Australia from reknowned studios Fabrica (Italy), and Studio Dumbar (Holland), a distinctive european influence is evident in our attention to detail, imagination, love of form, and sense of humour. Our work has been recognised both at home and abroad, and awarded by the Type Director’s Club of New York, Young Guns International Advertising Awards, and the Australian Graphic Design Association. We are currently making the transition from design studio to design production company with our first international product range: Measure.

Established in 1993, Kleimeyer Industries is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Melbourne. We focus on creating innovative, memorable and relevant visual responses to briefs, working in collaboration with our clients to deliver appropriate messages. Being a smaller sized studio enables us to offer direct and personal contact with our clients, however we have the flexibility to call on other design and management practitioners to build teams as necessary. With a range of individual experiences and interests, everyone in the team brings their own creative responses and insight to the task when developing and exploring distinctive design solutions. Our range of disciplines encompass identity, environmental design, packaging, publishing, web design and print campaigns, from initial consultation to production and delivery. Grown out of a passion for contemporary art, one of the studio's special interests includes working within the art industry, and for artists and galleries. Our most recent major work includes the conception, design and print management for the book Beyond Sacred, that showcases recent painting from Australia's remote Aboriginal communities, as part of the Laverty Collection. It is currently being distributed in Australia, Europe, the UK and US. In 2008 it was awarded the PICA diamond award and a distinction at the Australian Graphic Design Association awards 2008. This year it has been nominated in the the Australian Publishers Association Book Design Awards for best specialist illustrated book of the year and best cover of the year. Although our emphasis and skill is based around the creative process, we also accept that the core of our business revolves around the understanding of the design process, project management and the importance of adhering to budget and deadline. We are committed to design excellence and problem solving. This, plus our love of the creative process has been proven in adding value to both brands and projects alike.

Design By Pidgeon has built reputation for creating unique design solutions for range of clients. We establish lasting relationships and work to solve the problems which we identify across a diverse range of design disciplines. No two briefs are the same and our approach varies accordingly. The outcome is both relevant and tailored. It is underpinned by objective idea generation which is becoming our trademark. We embrace the unknown and enjoy breaking new ground. As of July 1 2007, the design component of the business GollingsPidgeon changed its name to Design by Pidgeon. Our close collaboration with Gollings Photography and FloodSlicer continues as we operate out of the same studio space.
